many horses at Project Sage that need to stay with us a bit longer then others. They need rehabilitation and more time
to heal. You can help with these horses by becoming a "Life Line". For just a $1 a day you can become
a "Life Line" for the horse of your choice. At the end of the month you send in your donation and I will send
you an updated picture of your horse! Please help a horse in need! E-mail me at Sportie1030@aol.com and tell me which horse you would like to become a "Life Line" for. The horses can use as many Life Line's

Sponsor a Horse Do you want to save your own horse but
don't have the time or property? You can make a life saving donation to Project Sage and you can name the horse
we rescue with your donation. I will also send you updates on your horse and your name will be listed on our site as
the horses sponsor. The horses we rescue vary in price but on average we pay $400 per horse. A school, business,
or individual can sponsor a horse. If you would like to be a part of our sponsorship program please contact Sportie1030@aol.com
The Sage Fund The Sage Fund is designed for
people who would like to donate directly to horses on the feed lot. I started The Sage Fund in memory of Sage,
my rescue horse who past away 3 years ago. We usually go to the feed lot once or twice a month and we can't
go with out donations from our supporters. All donations sent to The Sage Fund will be used for the initial costs of
the horses. This is the last chance for all of these horses. They are shipped to slaughter on Sundays. Your
donation will literally save the life of a horse. You can also make a donation in memory of a horse and we will put
it towards the feed lot horses.
Chinese Auction Twice a year we hold a large
Chinese Auction to help raise funds for the horses. We are always looking for items to be donated to the auction.
We collect gift certificates, items, and samples. If you are interested in donating a new item please contact me.
Volunteers We are always looking for volunteers
who are willing to come out and groom, muck stalls, scrub water bucks, etc. If you are interested in volunteering for
Project Sage you can contact me at Sportie1030@aol.com. Any student who is in need of community service I can write you a letter after you volunteer.
Things We Need! All of the following items can be ordered from Country Supply (horse.com) and sent directly to Project Sage Horse Rescue. When ordering from Country Supply please use the Country Care Code "projectsage" when finishing your order online. Items can be new or used! Contact us to donate any of these items. -Wormers -Blankets (any sizes and weights) -Turn out sheets -Weight Gainer Supplement -Joint Supplements -Buckets (muck, water, feed, etc.) -Wound treatment (vet wrap, Corona, gauze, iodine, epsom salt, topical ointments, etc) -Hay and Grain (contact Brittany to find out how to help with this) -Used and new tack to either keep to the rescues or sell to raise money -Credit with our vet and farrier (contact Brittany to find out how to help with this) -Horse treats -Horse Trailer (2 horse bumper pull - We can fix one up if need be!)
